Support of 3D models in the PAPER.plus composer

In the current version of the PAPER.plus backend, there is now a convenient way to enrich scanable motifs with 3D models.

In Composer, the browser-based editor, such models can be placed exactly and provided with an initial tilt angle.
After the motif has been recognized by scanning with the PAPER.plus app, the model can be viewed from this initial position by touching and dragging it from all directions.

Product visualizations are an obvious area of application for this. Printed brochures thus take on a third dimension and attract special attention from interested readers.

3D models can also be displayed “inPage”, i.e. directly in the camera image above the motif. This results in interesting effects that are ideally suited for advertising purposes. Of course, three-dimensional animations are particularly effective. These can also be configured in the PAPER.plus composer so that they are played directly above the scanned motif.
